As we continue to receive distressful information of the recent suicide bomb attack that occurred on Saturday 8th May outside a girls school in Kabul, our hearts reach out to the victims families during these trying times. The explosion occurred in a majority Shia district.

WF is in direct contact with the Office of His Eminence Ayatullah Shaykh Ishaq Fayyaz who have reached out and alerted them of the urgent need to support families that do not have access to domestic and local medical facilities. The medical treatment for many of these mu’mineen will have to be sought abroad.

WF’s partners on the ground are actively working with them to support the families of these victims and are assessing the current situation, and offer our support in any way required.
