Module 5 on Hadith will be delivered by Sister Nazmina Dhanji. Sister Nazmina completed her degree in Arabic at SOAS University of London, including modules in translation, Qur’an and Hadith studies, Islamic texts, post-Ottoman History of the Middle East, and Persian. After spending a year in Damascus University consolidating her knowledge of the Arabic language and rhetoric (balāgha), she went on to pursue further Islamic studies at Jaami’at al-Zahra in Qum. She has translated and edited numerous works for publication, and subtitled documentaries and films from Arabic into English. Her current areas of interest are Arabic language and grammar, Islamic ethics and spirituality, Qur’anic sciences, tafsir, Hadith Studies and interfaith relations.

Each course module is made up of three lectures which will take place between 8pm-9pm GMT from Friday to Sunday, on successive weekends.

Registrations for each module closes at 4pm GMT SHARP on Day 1 of that module.
