Committee for Social Responsibility (CSR) are hosting a fostering awareness and recruitment event for ladies and gents Insha’Allah on Sunday 7th July 2019 from 10am to 1pm.

We have invited professionals from this field to advise us on how the Muslim community can express interest and consider becoming foster carers to take care of the growing number of Muslim children who are coming into care and an increasing number of Muslim orphaned refugees coming from to the UK from war torn Muslim countries.

Further details will be explained at this event. We urge you all to attend. This is a free event however registration is required here.

The Council of European Jamaats is pleased to launch the Youth Mental Health First Aid Training on the weekend of the 6th & 7th July 2019 at Al Zahra Centre in Watford.

Our Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training is for anyone who works with, lives with or supports young people aged 8-18. We train the adults in a young person’s life to have the skills and confidence to step in, offer first aid and guide them towards the support they need. In doing so, they can speed up a young person’s recovery, stop issues from developing into a crisis, and ultimately save lives.
