We achieve this by:

  • Providing children with a safe, secure and stimulating environment where they get the opportunity to learn through play;
  • Offering them a varied range of activities enabling them to enhance intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially and to build their independence, confidence and self-esteem;
  • Involving the Parental to contribute towards their child’s learning and development;
  • encouraging the Children to participate in physical exercises and provided with healthy snacks at the nursery;
  • Promoting British values, Islamic learning  and cultural awareness through our daily practice;
  • Seeing each child as unique and special at Muhammadi Nursery.

 

The Organisation is a purpose built community Nursery setting in the Balsall heath area providing Care, learning and Education for children aged 2-5 years. It was established in 1998.Originally it started as a ‘play group’ by a group of mums, which got its nursery status in 1998.. Since its establishment, the nursery has developed continuously meeting the needs of the community. The Children are cared for in two main rooms. There is a pre-school room for children between 3-4 years old and the setting has the use of sports hall for children between 2 and 3 years.  The two smaller rooms are used for group work and as a sensory room. -Sensory room for children promote a relaxed atmosphere, where children have the chance to explore the environment and express their feelings. Furthermore it improves their fine motor skills, extend their language skills, social and emotional wellbeing. Children have access to a renovated enclosed outdoor play area in all weather conditions. The setting is easily accessible. The children and their families who attend the setting are from the local and surrounding area. The setting provides an Islamic environment and welcomes children from all faiths.
