It is with great sadness that we received the news that Zainab Hassanali Rajabali Jaffer passed away this afternoon 3rd November 2024 , in Birmingham .

Marhuma was the wife of Late Hassanali Rajabali Jaffer .

Marhuma was the mother of Marziya Jaffer , Haiderali Jaffer and Masuma Parpia .

Marhuma was the mother in law of Sajjad R.B. Jaffer , Tahera Jaffer and Late Mohammed Parpia .

Marhuma was the Grandmother of Shaziya Somji , Shabana Mohammed , Mohammed Jaffer , Farida Jaffer , Fatema Mawji , Shaneabbas Jaffer , Ateqa Manekia , Mohammed Jaffer , Wajida Parpia , Fazle Abbas Parpia and Sarah Parpia .

Marhuma was the sister of Mohammed Hassam and Late Fatema Hassam (Kaniz Bai)

Marhuma was the sister in law of Mohammed Jaffer , Batul Jaffer and Latifa Hassam .

Funeral details are yet to be confirmed.

Mo'mineen are advised that there will be Fajr Jamaat Salaah for Gents and Ladies for the duration of the Holy month of Ramadhan commencing from tomorrow Thursday 23rd March 2023.

Fajr Salaah will take place in the Gents Transition hall 15 minutes after the Awwal time published by the Jamaat.

The hall will then be closed 10 minutes after Salaah has ended.

It was with great sadness that we received the news that Katiza Bandaly Molu passed away on (21/03/23) in Birmingham.

Marhuma was the wife of Marhum Haji Acbarali bhai Molu.

Mother of Assgar, Munir, Kalbe Abbas Molu and Sakina Khaki.

Grand mother of Mohamed Kasim, Ali Abbas, Mehdi Molu, Fatima Molu, Fatema Molu, Mehreen Khaki, Rayaan Khaki.

Mother-in-law of Gulam Abbas Khaki, Zainab Molu.

Funeral will take place tomorrow Thursday 23rd March 2023:
11.45 - 12.15pm: Face viewing (Ladies only)
12.20pm: - Zohrain Salaah, Salaatul Mayyit, followed by Surah Yasin & Marsiya, to reach Cemetery at 2.30pm.

▪️ Position of Head of Finance

Dear Members

Salaamun Alaykum

Brother Haider Hudda has stepped down from his role as the Head of Finance due to personal commitments.

The Executive Committee hereby invites all members interested in applying for the position of Head of Finance to submit their names for the attention of our Secretary General Sister Ismat A. Ramji via secretariat@ksmnet.org by Friday 24th February 2023 at 10.00pm.

The EC is required to fill this position and nominate an individual within 28 days as per clause 16.2 of the Constitution which states as follows:

Should an Executive Committee member resign or otherwise vacate office during the term, the remaining Executive Committee members shall advertise the position to members and shall nominate a candidate to the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee member shall be replaced within twenty-eight (28) days of the resignation. The nominated person should meet the eligibility criteria and shall hold office up to the next annual general meeting at which the Executive Committee member shall have to retire but will be eligible for re- election. All Members shall be notified of the new Executive Committee member within twenty-eight (28) days of the appointment.

▪️ Closure of Clifton Road Entrance

Salaamun Alaykum

We would like to advise all the members that the access to the Jamaat Office and Sayyida Zainab (sa) Building via Clifton Road will close from this evening until further notice due to the ongoing building works.

From tomorrow Thursday 01st December 2022, access to the Jamaat Office and Sayyida Zainab (sa) Building for ALL will be via the Runcorn Road Gate/Entrance.

Different arrangements are in place for users of Muhammadi Nursey and Muhammadi Madrasah and will be conveyed separately.
