Tomorrow being the Shahadat Day of our first Holy Imam, Imam Ali (as), the program will commence at 7pm with Qur’ankhani. Du’a Iftitah will commence at 8.05pm followed by Qur'an by Madrasah Student, Announcements, Majlis at 8.40pm, Matam, Ziyarat, Maghribain Salaat at 9.43pm and Full Iftar Nyaz. The A’maals of the 23rd Night for the Muqalideen of Marhum Ayatullah Khoei will then be performed at 11pm.
The A’maal of the 21st Night of Ramadhan will be performed tonight commencing at 11pm.
The Jamaat has opened an Emergency Relief Fund for the victims of the Grenfell Tower in London. As you know, many people have been left severely injured and homeless with a number of residence having to come to terms with the death of family and friends. Mu’mineen are urged to donate generously into this fund. Donations can be made at the Treasures desks or on our Jamaat website.
The overflow for the A’maals for Gents will be on the Ground Floor of the Syeda Zainab Building and for Ladies will be on the First Floor of the Syeda Zainab Building. Mu'mineen are requested to use the Syeda Zainab Building FIRST before going into the Masjid in order to ease congestion. Please follow instructions given by volunteers who are there to ensure the program runs smoothly.
This year’s Itikaaf will be held from Thursday 22nd June to Saturday 24th June for males from the age of 18 years and above. For those between the ages of 16-18, in order to take part in this years Itikaaf, they will have to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Please note that registration is required if you would like to participate. You can register using the link on the Jamaat website.
Annual Quds Day
Free transport is being arranged for the Annual Al-Quds day on Sunday 18th June leaving our centre at 10.30am sharp to travel to London. The list has been placed on the notice board for both ladies & gents. Could you please record your names and mobile numbers as soon as possible. Any donations are welcome. The first ever Street Iftar will be taking place on Moseley Road on this Sunday 18th June for which donations of snacks would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to volunteer, please get in touch with Sister Sukaina Alibhai. Mu’mineen are urged to attend in large numbers in order to support this event for the sake of unity and cohesion with all faith communities.
Mahe Ramadhan Funds
As we all know, the Sawaab for all our deeds are multiplied 10 fold in this Holy Month of Ramadhan. All Ramadhan Funds are open. Mu’mineen are requested to please donate generously into the Alim Fund, the Ramadhan Relief Fund, the Quran Khani Fund & the Workshop Fund. Announcements and Sponsoring Majlis
On the 17th June there will be a fruit decoration competition for ladies. It's £2 to take part and Anyone that wants to take part should please contact Sisters Mussarat Bandali and Sarah Yusufali. All participants will need to bring their designs to mosque by 8pm. Judging will be based on creativity, design and firmness. The Winner and the runner up will have theirs auctioned and will receive a prize. The rest will all be sold with all proceeds going toward the Ramadhan Relief Fund.
The Economic Upliftment Committee requests all Community Members Gents and Ladies, Young and Old to come forward and join our Team to serve our community. In the Mubarak month of Mahe Ramadan every evening we recite the Du'a saying: “ALLAHUMMA AGNI KULLA FAQIR, ALLAHUMMA ASHBI' KULLI JAA'IN, ALLAHUMMAKSU KULLA URYAAN, ALLAHUMAKDHIE DAYN KULLI MADEEN”. This is a passive Du'a, if we want to do the active Du'a we have to support our community members to be self-sufficient and build a progressive and sustainable community.

Children's Tabligh Committee
The Children's Tabligh Committee humbly request donations to help them meet some of the costs for the children's workshops which have got off to a great start.
